UB1000

The UB1000 utilizes ultrasonic waves which pass through the pole, measuring time-of-flight in microseconds.  The integrated Bluetooth technology syncs automatically with the inspectors tablet, uploading all pole data to the cloud. This allows for more accurate auditing data and a shorter average inspection time.

JOINT USE/NESC INSPECTIONS

Through our partnership with IKE, we are able to offer joint use and make-ready inspections.  Many utilities are losing money from inaccurate attachment numbers and could be liable for NESC violations on their poles.  Call today to find out if you could be making more money from your attachers!

LINESMARTS

Through our partnership with LineSmarts, we are able to measure line tension and sag quickly and accurately for a low price. This process can be done in addition to a ground-line inspection or a joint-use audit for a minimal additional fee.

DRONE SURVEYS

UAM is now offering Drone Surveys in addition to their other inspections. The high megapixel cameras on our drones take detailed, high-resolution images so you can identify issues easily. Diagnose the severity of split/decayed heads, woodpecker holes, and loose equipment without having to climb or use a bucket truck. Our drone inspections are affordable and easily paired with Ultrasound or Joint Use inspections.

POLE TREATMENTS

We also offer treatments on poles which have early stage decay. By identifying poles which actually need treatment with our NDE testing, we save you money overall. Not every pole needs to be treated, and testing with a traditional excavation method can actually disturb the treatment barrier around the pole. Our treatment method makes smarter decisions about which poles need to be treated and which don’t.
